Abstract
Within the scope of this review article, the most recent developments in food packaging technologies that are targeted at enhancing food safety are investigated. When it comes to safeguarding food from contamination, spoilage, and damage, packaging is a very important factor. The incorporation of cutting-edge materials and technology into packaging is becoming more popular. This article focusses on innovative packaging strategies, such as active, intelligent, and biodegradable packaging, which contribute to the extension of shelf life, preservation of food quality, and prevention of foodborne diseases. Specifically, the study focusses on new packaging approaches. In addition to this, the research delves into the difficulties and potential future applications of these technologies in the field of food safety management.
