Multidimensional Analysis of Business Interns Learning experience and Career preparations

Abstract

Internships help in closing the gap between what is taught in academics and what is expected in the practical aspect of the job. The purpose of this study was to determine whether internship learning experience can predict the career preparedness and performance of business interns. This research will be the groundwork for the creation of an action plan in preparation of interns before being deployed to their respective fields of work. Results showed a statistically significant connection between the two variables with a p-value of .024, indicating that the graduates are capable of doing well in professional settings while having the p-value of .046 for internship learning experience and internship performance. It is recommended that the schools should continue enhancing their internship programs through the organization of implementation, objective setting, and supervision.
