Development, Validation, and Evaluation of Instructional Material In Inorganic Chemistry

Abstract

This study aims to develop and prepare instructional materials in Inorganic Chemistry and determine the validity and acceptability of the proposed instructional materials. The descriptive-evaluative survey was used for the respondents who availed of the proposed instructional material to find out or evaluate its validity through the given criteria. For the realization of this study, there were three groups of participants: 1. Students. 2. Faculty, and IMDU Committee. Research instruments used were a survey questionnaire used to draw out the respondents’ perceptions. The criteria for evaluation of this were incorporated in the questionnaires, which are the following: a. Objectives, b. Contents, c. Usefulness, d. Clarity, e. Suitability, and f. Adequacy. It could be deduced from the data that the proposed Instructional Material in Inorganic Chemistry is acceptable and valid to students, instructors, and the IMDU Committee.
